About Me

I'm a working mom of two who's trying to get back in shape. I danced and ran track back in my school days and learned my way around a gym in my 20's. But since having my second child, I've had trouble keeping up a regular exercise schedule.

I started Pintricize because I wanted to actually try out all those workout pins I'd been saving up and thought blogging about it might be a good way to stay accountable and also keep from getting bored with the same old routine.

I like yoga, pilates, and dumbbell exercises. I dislike cardio and refuse to do burpees. I wear a Fitbit to remind me not to sit on my butt all day. My goal is to have a smaller waist, a strong back, and enough stamina to someday make it through an entire Zumba class.

I live in the suburbs of a small Southern city with my husband, two boys, two dogs, and cat. My husband and dogs are great at encouraging me to exercise. My boys and cat are great at encouraging me to relax.
